Rough Diamond Buying Office
Across the river from our mining operation is a small village named Kamania, Congo. This is the heart of the Luande Norte Diamond fields. The only way you can have an office this close to the Angola boarder is to operate as a Congolese company. J.G. Diamonds operates as a Congolese company. We have the license to have an office in Kamania. The documents you see are the corporate documents that were prepared by our Congolese attorney to do business in the Congo.

Inside Office
At this office we have a constant flow of diamonds being presented to us by the local miners. Many of these diamonds are mined by the locals. The locals will dig their own diamond holes by hand. They will use a stick that they have carved and purchase the head of a shovel and begin to make their own diamond mine. These sifting boxes are made by burning the tires and using the mesh lining in the tires to create a screen that is nailed to wood and than begin to sift the gravel. This area being very rich in diamonds several locals have found stones large enough to take them from poverty level to great wealth. With us having an office in the heart of the diamond fields we get to have first pick of all the finest diamonds in the world.

Rough Diamonds
The streets in Kamania and Tshikapa are lined with local businesses buying and selling diamonds to each other, it truly is an amazing part of the world to do business in. Having local partners in the diamond business knowing the culture and understanding the pulse of this part of the world is a big part of why we are successful.
